Cancellation Policy for PKP Intercity

  • Refund is possible only before the train departure. The ticket can be cancelled and you will be partially refunded. Remember, the time of departure is crucial for your request to be processed.
  • If you book a ticket and cancel it sooner than 15 minutes before departure, you will receive an 80% refund of your fare.
  • Cancellations made less than 15 minutes before departure but before the actual departure time will result in a 50% refund.
  • No refund can be given for cancellations made after the scheduled departure time of the train.
  • In case of buying a ticket at a reduced price (offer, discount), remember that such a ticket may be non-refundable. Always check the conditions of the offer.
  • E-tickets can typically be cancelled online, but paper tickets must be returned to the ticket counter at a train station in order to process the cancellation and refund.
  • In the event of train delays or cancellations caused by PKP Intercity, you may be entitled to a full or partial refund, or compensation, depending on the specific circumstances.

PKP Intercity Luggage Policy:

  • Each passenger is allowed 3 pieces of luggage including hand luggage.
  • The sum of the dimensions (height + length + width) of a single piece of luggage cannot exceed 180 cm.
  • Maximum weight of each bag must not exceed 30 kg.
  • Luggage needs to be stored in overhead racks, under seats, or in dedicated spaces, so that it does not cause inconvenience to other passengers or compromise safety.
  • It's the passenger's responsibility to keep an eye on their luggage.
