Flexible Cancellations

  • In case of cancellation before the departure, the customer must contact the Renex customer service up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • In case of cancellation within 24 hours of the departure time, the customer must contact Renex customer service immediately.
  • If the customer does not show up for the bus at the scheduled departure time, the ticket will be considered as used and will not be refunded.
  • Tickets are non-refundable in case of no-show, but can be changed to another date if the customer contacts Renex customer service up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • In case of cancellations due to force majeure (such as natural disasters or political unrest), Renex will provide a refund or reschedule the trip depending on the situation.
  • In case of partial cancellations (such as a return ticket where only the outward journey is cancelled), the customer must contact Renex customer service to determine the refund amount.

  • Luggage Policy on Renex:
  • Passengers are allowed to bring one small piece of luggage (max. 30x50x20 cm) and a handbag or laptop bag on board.
  • It is not allowed to bring oversized luggage on board. Oversized luggage must be sent in the luggage hold.
  • The cost of sending oversized luggage in the luggage hold is €5.00.
  • It is not allowed to bring dangerous items or items of value such as money, jewelry, electronic equipment, and other valuable items in the luggage hold.
  • It is not allowed to bring pets or live animals in the luggage hold.
  • It is not allowed to bring food, alcohol, and flammable items in the luggage hold.

  • Pets are allowed on Renex buses in Portugal, provided they meet certain conditions.
  • The pet must be smaller than 30x50x50 cm and weigh less than 5 kg.
  • Only one pet per passenger is allowed.
  • The pet must travel in a closed transport box.
  • The pet must have the appropriate vaccinations and a valid health book.
  • The passenger must have a valid ticket for the pet.
  • Pets must remain inside the transport box throughout the journey.
  • Pets that are allowed to travel on Renex buses include cats, small dogs, and other small animals such as birds and rodents.
  • Pets that are not allowed to travel on Renex buses include large dogs, livestock, and wild animals.
