Cancellation Policy
- If you cancel your booking more than 24 hours before the time of departure, you will be refunded the full amount of your train ticket.
- If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours before the time of departure, you will be refunded the full amount of your ticket minus a cancellation fee of 20% of the ticket’s cost.
- If you cancel your booking less than 2 hours before the time of departure, you will not be eligible for a refund.
- If your train is delayed by more than an hour, you will be eligible for a full refund.
- If your train is delayed by less than an hour, you will not be eligible for a refund.
- If you miss your train, you will not be eligible for a refund.
- If your train is cancelled by TGV, you will be eligible for a full refund.
Smooth Luggage
Luggage Policy
- When traveling on TGV in France, each passenger is allowed to bring two pieces of luggage free of charge. Each piece of luggage must not exceed the dimensions of 85 cm x 55 cm x 30 cm and weigh no more than 20kg.
- Passengers are allowed to bring hand luggage, such as a small suitcase, laptop bag or briefcase, that fits the overhead shelves without having to pay any additional fees or taxes.
- Passengers are allowed to bring ski equipment, golf clubs and similar items as long as they are properly packaged. An additional fee must be paid for these items.
- Passengers are not allowed to bring any dangerous items such as weapons, explosives, flammable substances, corrosives, etc. on board the TGV.
- Passengers are not allowed to bring any pets on board the TGV, with the exception of service animals such as guide dogs.

- Pet Policy on TGV in France:
- Pets are allowed on TGV trains, but must be accompanied by their owner.
- In the case of a small pet, the animal must be in a container or cage that is suitable for transport by train.
- Animals must remain in the container or cage during the entire journey and must not be taken out at any time.
- It is not permitted to take cats, dogs or any other animals (other than service animals) into the passenger compartment.
- Allowed pets: small cats, dogs, and other small pets, such as birds, hamsters, rabbits, and reptiles.
- Not allowed pets: large cats, large dogs, and other large animals, such as horses, cows, and bears.
